I tried the hand relief lotion on my hands and arms and with in an hour starting itching. I must have touched my face and neck with the lotion on my hands as my face around my eyes started itching and small red bumps came up all over my neck.

This happened on a Friday afternoon. I have had my arms break out so bad with red bumps that itch like crazy. My eyes have become so puffy I can hardly open them. This reaction to a hand cream is ridiculous!

I have never had an allergic reaction to anything in my life!

Today is Monday and I still have extremely puffy, itchy skin all on my face under my eyes and a rash beyond severe itching on my arms. Terrible product!

Reason of review: reaction to lotion.

Monetary Loss: $400.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Aveda Cons: I do not like any of the aveda products, Allergic reaction.

Same thing. I used their botanical shampoo and hives all over my neck.

Going on 3 days now. Worst reaction I've had to any product.

I wonder what year this was? I only ask because Aveda went through a major skin care line change a year to two years ago.

Prior to that they had a number of great choices for skin. They scrapped all of that for tulsara and only left their 'low end' generic skin care line from before (botanical kinetics). Everything else (and in my opinion, their good stuff) was scrapped. It is my belief that they discarded the quality, expensive, effective products for cheaper quality (albeit same price) tulsara and kept their already cheaper quality botanical kinetics.

Prior to this change, there were MANY choices within the brand you could have chosen for skin care that actually would have calmed any skin condition (like the reaction you had) whereas now they do not. It is virtually one option. They literally had a line that calmed many people's rosacea, acne, dull skin, or wrinkles. It used to be good.

Sorry you are allergic to whatever line you were exposed to. I would just be curious if it was before the massive skin care line scrap or after?

All in all, after Aveda went cheap I left. I was pissed that a skin care line that was marvelous for my skin was scrapped for no good reason (which in business terms equals not a large enough profit margin).

Just because YOU are allergic doesn't mean everyone is. Go to the doctor, get some prednisone.

It's dirt cheap.

Then buy some benadryl cream. You'll be fine.

I am simply saying what happened and have read several others have had the same thing happen after using this product. It may be something in the product or contamination.

I know not everyone is allergic to the same things. Its best for the company to see that something similar is happening so they can research it.

Its called negative feedback, but used to help a company with products also. Type your message here

I'll pray for your soul....you are infected with dark parasites in your heart. Evil will not win.

Sad that there's so much evil on this planet infecting so many poor souls. The light always reflects the truth.
